HONORING PAIUTE AND MAIDU LAND
LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
We acknowledge that Camp Grizzly is being hosted on the traditional lands of indigenous peoples who come from many different tribes; who were the original stewards for thousands of years. We recognize the Paiute and Maidu tribes as the traditional custodians of this territory.
We pay our respects to their elders, past and present, and extend that respect to all indigenous people present today. We acknowledge the enduring relationship that exists between indigenous peoples and their traditional lands.
May we strive for understanding and collaboration as we move forward together on this land.
